Eligibility Criteria To be eligible to get admission in RTE Gujarat, the applicants must follow the following eligibility criteria given below:-

• Children must be born between 2 June 2014 to 1 June 2015
• The annual income of the household must be-
• For ST/ SC- Rs. 2 lac per annum
• For OBC- Rs. 1 lac per annum

What is the age limit for admission under RTE?

• Children who have applied for admission in Std-1 under RTE and have not completed 6th year of age on the date of admission will not normally be admitted in primary school. However, if a child wants to be admitted at the age of five, he will be admitted, but he must have completed five years of age on June 1 of that year. 
• As per the   declaration number of the education department dated 31/01/2050: GH / SH / 05 / PRI / 19018 / CEFA-21-A Should be done

What is the income limit for getting admission under RTE?

• Resolution No. of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat for children falling in the categories numbered 6,7,11,12 and 12 mentioned above: Sashap / 102011/4 / A-1, Dt. 
• As per 7/10/2018 and Resolution No. of Tribal Development Department: Chhatal / 19011/4 / G, Ta.  
• Income limit will be applicable as on 8/10/2018. 

• In rural areas, Rs.  1,50,000 / – and in urban areas Rs. 
• Income limit of Rs. 150,000 / – will be applicable. 
• In addition the income limits to be fixed from time to time by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Department of Tribal Development shall be applicable for admission to that academic year. 
• Children from the lowest income families will be given priority in admission.

Which categories are allotted admission under RTE in order of priority?

• School allocation will be done as per the priority of the following categories as per the resolution.
• Orphan child
• A child in need of care and protection
• Kindergarten children
• Children of child labor / migrant labor
• Children with Mental Illness / Cerebral Palsy, Children with 
• Special Needs / Physically Handicapped and Handicapped
• (ART) Children receiving anti-retroviral therapy
• Children of military / paramilitary / police personnel martyred during duty
• A parent who has an only child and that child is only a daughter
• Children studying in state government owned Anganwadi
• Children of BPL family of all categories ( SC, ST, SEBC, General and others) with marks from 0 to 50 Children of Scheduled Caste ( SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) SEBC, General and others) with marks from 0 to 50Children of Scheduled Caste ( SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes / Other Backward Classes / Nomadic and Liberated Caste Children.

Q.1. RTE હેઠળ મેળવેલ પ્રવેશ રદ થવાપાત્ર છે કે કેમ?

Ans. પ્રવેશ મેળવેલ બાળકનાં વાલીએ પ્રવેશ મેળવવા માટે રજૂ કરેલ આધાર-પુરાવા શાળા/સરકારી વ્યવસ્થા તંત્રને કોઈ પણ તબક્કે શંકાસ્પદ જણાય તો, આવકનાં દાખલા સહિત કોઈ પણ આધારની ખરાઈ કરાવી શકશે, જે તે આધાર-પૂરાવાની ચકાસણીના અંતે પૂરાવા અયોગ્ય જણાય તો સદર વિદ્યાર્થીનો પ્રવેશચાલુ શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થયે થી રદ કરવામાં આવશે, અને વાલી સામે ખોટા આધાર પૂરાવા રજૂ કર્યા બદલ સંબંધિત જિલ્લા શિક્ષણાધિકારીશ્રી/જિલ્લા પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણાધિકારીશ્રી કક્ષાએથી  નિયમાનુસાર કાર્યવાહી હાથ ધરવામાં આવશે.

Q.2. જો ભાડાનું મકાન હોય તો રહેઠાણના પુરાવા તરીકે કયો પુરાવો માન્ય ગણાશે?

Ans. : બાળકના રહેઠાણના પુરાવા તરીકે નીચે દર્શાવેલ દસ્તાવેજ પૈકીના કોઈ એક આધાર માન્ય ગણાશે.
આધારકાર્ડ / પાસપોર્ટ / વીજળી બિલ / પાણી બિલ /ચૂંટણી કાર્ડ / રેશન કાર્ડ/
જો ઉપર મુજબનાં આધાર પૈકી કોઈ એક આધાર હોય તો, રજીસ્ટર્ડ ભાડા કરારની જરૂર રહેતી નથી.

Q. 3. રાજ્ય સરકાર હસ્તકની સરકારી આંગણવાડીમાં ભણતા બાળક માટે કયું પ્રમાણપત્ર જોઈશે ?

Ans. : સરકારી આંગણવાડીમાં ઓછામાં ઓછા 2 વર્ષ અભ્યાસ કરેલ હોય અને ICDS-CAS  વેબપોર્ટલ પર જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓના નામ નોંધાયેલ હોય તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ જે તે આંગણવાડીમાં અભ્યાસ કરેલ છે તે મતલબનું સબંધિત આંગણવાડીનાં આંગણવાડી વર્કર અથવા સરકારશ્રી દ્વારા વખતોવખત નક્કી કરવામાં આવેલ સક્ષમ અધિકારીનો  પ્રમાણિત કરેલ દાખલો રજુ કરવાનો રહેશે

Q.4. RTE હેઠળ પ્રવેશ મેળવવા માટે આવકની મર્યાદા શું છે?

Ans. ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં રૂ. ૧,૨૦,૦૦૦/- અને શહેરી વિસ્તારમાં રૂ. ૧,૫૦,૦૦૦/-ની આવક મર્યાદા લાગુ પડશે.

Q.5. RTE હેઠળ કઈ કઈ કેટેગરીને અગ્રતાક્રમ મુજબ પ્રવેશ ફાળવવામાં આવે છે?

Ans. :શાળા ફાળવણી ઠરાવ મુજબ નીચે દર્શાવેલ કેટેગરીનાં અગ્રતાક્રમ મુજબ કરવામાં આવશે.

1. અનાથ બાળક
2. સંભાળ અને સંરક્ષણની જરૂરીયાતવાળુ બાળક
3. બાલગૃહનાં બાળકો
4. બાળમજુર/સ્થળંતરીત મજૂરનાં બાળકો
5. મંદ બુદ્ધિ/સેરેબ્રલ પાલ્સી ધરાવતા બાળકો, ખાસ જરૂરીયાતવાળા બાળકો/શારીરિક રીતે વિકલાંક અને વિકલાંગ ધારા-૨૦૧૬ની કલમ ૩૪(૧)માં દર્શાવ્યા મુજબનાં તમામ દિવ્યાંગ બાળક
6. (ART) એન્ટિ-રેટ્રોવાયરલ થેરેપીની સારવાર લેતા બાળકો
7. ફરજ દરમિયાન શહીદ થયેલ લશ્કરી/અર્ધ લશ્કરી/પોલિસદળનાં જવાનનાં બાળકો
